Clumping for this litter is quite good.  The clay granules soak up the feces and urine and harden with ease.  The clumps also stay hard for days which makes cleanup simple and hassle-free.   It can take a little longer than expected for the hardening process to occur, however, but this is a minor complaint and only an issue if you or your cats try to move the waste around immediately after it happening.  Also, the clumps might have a hard time keeping up with a busy litter box so we like this product for single cat households.

Scent – 

This product is quite strong in the perfume category.  The smell is very artificial and seems to spread around the room very easily and can even linger on clothing and your cat itself!   However, that is all you will smell because it does a very good job of hiding cat smells, which is what matters.  So if you can put up with the smell of the litter then this could be a good choice for you.  But for those with sensitive allergies, it may be an issue.

Messiness – 

The dust levels are lower than most other products on the market.  There is slight tracking but nothing major.  Having low dust levels and only slight tracking from a clay litter is a welcome surprise. The clumps stay hard and are easy to remove and the litter can take a lot of use before falling apart and becoming pasty.  Because of this, there is little concern about litter sticking to the bottom of your cat’s paws or the side of the box.

The Ever Clean Extra Strength Cat Litter Review earns 3.5 out of 5 cats.  An all-around decent litter that shouldn’t disappoint.  Its strong points are the rock-hard clumps which translate into easy cleanup and good odor-blocking ability.  We aren’t a huge fan of the perfume that is added to the product but it does a good enough job of stopping the cat waste smells that we can’t complain too much.  The price isn’t terrible, either.  A decent option for a single cat household.
