This litter is very good at clumping.  The clumps are rock hard and stay hard for several days which makes for easy cleanup.  There can be a decent amount of litter that sticks to the waste, however, so while this ensures that the odor is locked in place it means that you might go through a package quicker than you would like.

Most if not all of the urine and feces are captured and hardened before ever reaching the bottom of the box which helps to reduce smell and cleanup.  If you try to have two or three cats sharing a single box you might run into some minor issues but for single cats, it has no trouble at all.

Scent – 

There is a slight perfume smell to this product, but most people and cats seem to agree that it isn’t too overpowering.  Even cats with modest allergies or sensitive smelling ability should not be bothered.  This litter does a fine job of locking in the cat smells as well, and can keep it locked in for quite some time.  Timely cleanings still help the process but it is nice to know that you can go for a few days without cleaning and not have to come home to your house or apartment reeking.

Messiness – 

As mentioned, the clean up of cat waste is super easy with this litter.  It is locked in place, hard, and typically won’t fall apart and create the sludge that many other brands can turn into.  There is a bit of dust, however.  This dust is a bit stickier than regular clay dust which means that some of it might bind to the side of the litter box or even your cat itself and create some minor tracking issues but it is a minor complaint.
