This is our Jonny Cat Complete Cat Litter Review. Jonny Cat Complete cat litter is designed for those households with multiple cats. It is advertised as having more aggressive odor control that is accomplished through the usage of 3 technological advances: advanced odor eliminators that don’t use harsh chemicals, 24/7 reduction of fecal odors, and a high-speed deodorizer that goes on instantly but remains gentle. This product is available in 10 and 20-pound bags.
Who This Cat Litter is Intended For
This cat litter is intended for households that have multiple cats and are looking to stick with a clay litter. Also, they either don’t have the time or desire to remove clumps so they would prefer a non-clumping product. This product is also good for cats and owners that are put off by harsh perfumes and chemicals as it doesn’t have either and it also puts odor control at the top of the list by using 3 different advanced methods to fight odor. Finally, it is good for people who are on a tight budget and only want to spend what is necessary to get a well-performing product.
What Makes This Cat Litter Unique
This cat litter is unique in that it is a clay that doesn’t clump but still exclaims having great odor control. Typically, clumping is a very common approach used by litter manufacturers to help combat cat odors. We found it very interesting that Jonny Cat opted not to utilize clumping but yet they still stand by the performance of their litter. We especially like how they break down eliminating odor into 3 different embedded features in their litter and can keep the price affordable.
Clumping Ability – N/A
This product is not intended to clump, but rather you are expected to empty the litter box once a week and put additional litter in the litter box.
There is a modest clay scent with this product, but it isn’t anything overpowering. Overall it does a very good job of locking in odor, even with multiple cats are using the box. Any odor that does arrive gets put out quickly and for the recommended week lifespan of the litter. It is especially good at fighting feces smells, which can be a challenge for many litters on the market.
We were very impressed with the level of odor control this product achieved without having to utilize clumping. However, be sure to follow the guidelines and replace the cat litter completely after a week.
There is some dust with this product, but it is about average for a clay litter. The key here is that since you won’t be messing with the box except to remove and replace the entire box then all of the headaches associated with moving clumps or trying to spot-clean are non-existent. The litter does a good job of staying firm so there shouldn’t be any paste being formed that can stick to the walls of the box or the cat. Some random tracking from the dust exists but it is nothing major.
There are wide ranges of prices online but this will typically fall into the budget-price tier. While we like to see all cat litters fall into the budget category, clay-based ones need to meet this requirement. Due to the competitive asking price, just about everybody should be able to squeeze this cat litter into their budget.
Overall Rating –
The Jonny Cat Complete Cat Litter Review earns 4 out of 5 cats. While this isn’t a clumping litter, it does a good job of sealing in odors without causing too big of a mess. The proprietary odor system in place works without having to utilize clumps, and we like that the litter doesn’t have to rely on any harsh chemicals to assist it. A bonus is getting this well-performing litter at such a reasonable price. We recommend this product.
