This is our Precious Cat Kitten Attract Cat Litter Review.  Precious Cat Kitten Attract cat litter is designed to be training litter for kittens eight weeks old to one year.  This litter is made of premium scoopable litter that has excellent clumping ability and is then ground down to a small granule size that works better with a kitten’s sensitive paws.  It also has kitten-specific herbal attractants that help to make the litter box more accommodating.  Also, it is good for multiple kittens and is advertised as being 99% dust-free.  This product is available in 20-pound boxes and cartons.

Who This Cat Litter is Intended For

As expected, this cat litter is intended for kittens who are just starting out learning how to use their litter box.  It is designed with them in mind, from the granule size and shape to the smell and even the clumping characteristics.  Some kittens might be sensitive to certain litter materials such as clay so make sure you introduce them to it watch for hints that there are any issues.

Clumping Ability – 

The clumping for this product is acceptable.  The clumps form at a decent rate and are easily identifiable and removable if you decide to do so.  They stay hard for several days as well, making this a good choice for multi-cat households that may add waste to the box frequently.

Because of the smaller granule size, the waste clumps smaller and doesn’t use as much product, so that means that this product will last longer than expected.  It is also refreshing to know that the clumps can still take moving around and abuse without falling apart despite the smaller grain structure.

Scent – 

There is a clay-like smell to this litter, but it isn’t overpowering.  There are better-smelling options on the market (especially from some of the “all-natural lines”) but this one is perfectly acceptable and most kittens should not have any issues with it.  The litter also does a good job of locking away the cat waste smells for several days and is absorbent enough to stop any moisture from seeping to the bottom and creating the powerful odors that can arise from that.

If you have several kittens using a single box it is important to remove the clumps and high-urine areas as quickly as possible to avoid ammonia smells releasing into the air.

Messiness – 

The clumps are easy to remove and hold up quite well.  There isn’t much of an issue with the nasty paste-like concoction forming when the litter gets exhausted since it is quite absorbent, as long as you maintain the litter box promptly.  Despite the smaller granules, there isn’t as much tracking as we would have thought, which is also nice.  Some minor dust will be kicked up when moving the litter around, but it is to be expected from a clay-based litter.

Value – 

This product is usually available for around a mid-price cost.  This is about average but it is important to remember that if you are after a litter specific for kittens that you may have to be willing to pay a bit extra.

Overall Rating –
