This product is intended for cats and owners who prefer regular clay litters over the many other litter materials on the market. Also, both single and multi-cat litter boxes can benefit from this litter as it is designed to handle both. Cats that are sensitive to artificial fragrances might also be better off with this product as it has none.
Also, this product is good if you prefer maintaining your litter box by removing clumps as the clumping ability is retained. Finally, if you are trying to keep a tight budget on pet-related supplies then this litter might be good for you as it is quite affordable.
What Makes This Cat Litter Unique
This cat litter is unique in its straightforward approach to tackling cat odors. It sticks to basic: clay composition, clumping ability, low price, etc. While there are plenty of much flashier products on the market, Premium Choice feels that they have a great product here that can handle even a relatively demanding cat household.
Clumping Ability – 
This product clumps quite well. The clumps form rather quickly and can stay hard for multiple days, which means that you don’t have to deal with them immediately after your cat does its business or else worry about a huge mess. It also does well to absorb any exposed moisture from urine and can keep it towards the top of the box for the most part. The clumps can be a bit on the large side, however, which means that you might go through litter quicker than anticipated, especially if you have two or three cats sharing the box.
Scent – 
There is very little natural smell to the litter itself, which agrees with Premium Choice’s “all-natural unscented” label. Also, any cat smells that are put into the litter get dealt with quite well and for a solid week before major issues come up.
The feces smell stays locked away in the clumps and the urine smell is absorbed for the most part by the litter. This is also true even in multiple cat situations although more timely refreshes of the litter will be necessary in those cases.
Messiness – 
The biggest complaint about this product is dust. It is quite dusty and the dust will get kicked up everywhere while being moved and also will stick to your cat(s) and be tracked out of the box. In regards to the tracking of the litter granules themselves, it is very minor.
Waste cleanup is a breeze as long as you are timely about it and even in cases where you take a few days in between the litter is absorbent enough to handle most instances of urine. When it does reach its maximum capacity it starts to get somewhat pasty but doesn’t just fall apart as some brands do, which is nice.
Value – 
Online prices for this litter range in the budget-price area. This is a very fair asking price. We don’t see any major quality shortcuts that were taken to meet this price point.
Overall Rating –
The Premium Choice All Natural Unscented Cat Litter Review earns 3.5 out of 5 cats. We wanted to give this a higher rating but it is simply too messy. If you are willing to deal with the dust then you are left with a reasonably priced litter that smells great and performs well.
